What to prepare for if you drink Ayahuasca
So – Ayahuasca is indeed illegal in most of the world and is considered a class A drug. In these parts they speak kindly of her as a medicine. What does she do? Yes – she is a personified being to the people in this part of the world and many others who have journeyed with her.
Ayahuasca means – sweet death in Quechua language. It is a good description. She numbs certain parts of your body and excels others so that you can feel and consciously understand or explain yourself to yourself. Some people feel it is as if you are going to sleep in some ways but yet awakening in others. What for do people take this plant?
This plant is a psychedelic substance that has DMT. This DMT is also called the God Molecule, meaning it helps you to reach that hyper spiritual state. Chakruna – another part Ayahuasca is mixed with – activates the DMT and brings out the hallucinogenic or the super-real character of Ayahuasca vine.
Because she is a vine – in nature, Ayahuasca wraps herself around trees and grows by supporting herself with another being. She does a similar thing to us – in a way holding us together while we sometimes go through a growth spurt or a crisis to assist us in growing, realising or just simply understanding ourselves more and the world around us.
Yes – ayahuasca can be dangerous and harmful, for this reason we have chosen a shaman who administers smoother and milder vine without excessive chakruna use so that you have a mild psychedelic experience and not go overboard – which is what happens a lot of the time in unpaced environments.

The importance of getting a good shaman
So this is very real. Shaman is a big word these days and many people like to use it – but shamanism is a rare thought process or rather – skill – which is often passed on through generations. We have chosen our guide especially for this skill and for the genuine ability to connect to the space, the plant and the people.
This is very hard to find. Also – there are a lot of villages out there that practice Ayahuasca shamanism or tourism – and not really tell the whole story – which is – they have chosen to do it because it was fun or because it made them money. This happens almost everywhere in many countries of South America as also suddenly in parts of Brazil and other places people “remembered” how to use it after years of colonisation but here is the deal –
Most people don’t have the knowledge the skill set or the touch for it. For this reason it is better to go with a generational true person who has indeed done it for “thousands of years” collectively with their tribe and ancestors rather than be swayed by another person in a feathered crown again.
Yes I have drunk with the Yawanawa tribe and with a certain Taita group from Columbia and with the Huni Quin tribe of Brazil, and I have to tell you – there is no true background to it. Because – from a psychic perception – almost totally nothing happened accept for Ayahuasca doing it’s thing. I’m not a believer basically.
With Carlos however – the shaman we are promoting in our work – I feel something, I see his gift and a touch with genius in what he does. I have full respect and association to what he brings and the power that he holds. That is a rare gift. And a significant one.
For this reason I trust he’s been the better guide so far and deserves to be promoted respected and followed in his work.

The importance of learning about Ayahuasca before you come here
So if you like – you can learn about this. Please be educated about this subject and really know if you should be taking this plant or not. There are a lot of people that are blindly promoting it around the world and with intense consequences. Though the plant is not an addictive one – some people do feel addicted to the space or the message it holds, and make it a way of life.
For this reason it is good to be aware of it and not trust just any word. If you are not taking this for the first time – still research the plant, other people’s experiences or what they say and what you feel inside when you listen to them talk.
It would be nice to get to know yourself and maybe if you have time – decide. What are other options and other thoughts that you might have or what for do you want to open yourself up so wide.
If you really want to know – I tried this for the first time without understanding it. And it was a very strong experience for me that changed me totally. So – for me as a young 28 year old at the time – it changed my mind. It changed me. Not everyone needs this. I definitely did though. And yes – I have learnt to live with certain changes like psychic perception and other things that sometimes come with this experience.
If you want you can ask those questions of me personally and maybe see – if you need to take this plant. We are not trying to just push people through the door. We want to make this a good honest labour of love and not much more.

Dear Polina,
thank you for your information concerning the use of Ayahuasca. I strongly and wholeheartedly appreciate your caution in dealing with the medicine and I like your sober tone. Having watched your videos and studied astrology for years I have a great deal of faith in you and I am very drawn to your energy, it feels familiar and safe which is important for me as a heavy saturnine moonchild.
I realize it can be dangerous and has risks. I have an intuition that tells me that this change that comes with the plants is very important and right for me. Ever since I made that decision, I’ve been hearing the calls from the jungle of these plants that would like to greet me and so would I. And then you were telling us that you opened a retreat, so it falls into place.
I already cached a glimpse on that loving welcoming energy with DMT. I was brought to tears by feeling seen and enthusiastically greeted with a family-kind of love as if I were at home. I am beyond curious to discover of what it likes to show me and dive deeper into the shadow and connecting to life’s intelligence itself.
I just filled in the retreat contact form and submitted it, but didn’t get a confirmation weather it was actually sent or get lost. I would be beyond grateful if you could answer me if it went through or not.
Best regards,
Sina
